Neil Isbin was born November 24, 1951 in Minneapolis, Minnesota. He attended college at Rice University in Texas. He moved to New Mexico in 1980. He died in Albuquerque, New Mexico August 9, 1996. Isbin was a longtime activist for civil rights and gay and lesbian rights. While in college he was active in voter-registration drives and programs for students with learning disabilities.
